RTI / PBIS
At Kohler Schools, we strive to provide students with the academic and behavioral supports necessary for them to feel success and reach their potential. We provide this support in a variety of ways for both academic achievement and social and behavioral success.
Multi-level System of Support
Academics/RTI
At each school academic support is provided either from classroom teachers during Bomber Time for students in need of academic intervention or by an Intervention Specialist in a pullout small group. Some students who need intense long-term support may also receive academic interventions and supports through special education.
Behavior/PBIS
Through Bomber Pride, we teach students our school wide expectations, model the behaviors ourselves, acknowledge students when they show the desirable behaviors, reteach them when needed and celebrate our accomplishments to build a positive school culture.
