6th Grade Human Growth and Development

The School District of Kohler will be presenting a program on the early stages of puberty to the students in sixth grade. The following topics will be covered in the program:

• The structure and function of the reproductive system
• The physical and emotional changes that take place during puberty
• The importance of personal hygiene
• Proper diet
• Common questions from kids their age during puberty

The students will be separated into two gender-based groups. The program includes a video and a question and answer session.

We want parents to be aware of this program so that you can have an opportunity for discussion with your child at home.
